Nothing As It Seems by Bellhead

Chicago post-punk demolition duo BELLHEAD released a new single “Nothing as It Seems” backed with remixes from Stabbing Westward, members of Curve, and more on all platforms this past March. Additional supporting tour dates will be announced soon.

Chicago Post-Punk duo BELLHEAD have started 2022 exploring new directions for the band. Following up the successful single “Mercy” off 2021’s Dead Lights EP, the band drew acclaim from noteworthy media outlets with no signs of slowing down. BELLHEAD have experimented with their two basses and a drum machine sound now aiming for the dancefloor. With the release of “Nothing as It Seems”, BELLHEAD reached out to some of their biggest musical influences to shake up the band's signature sound to not only make the listeners move their bodies and their feet.

BELLHEAD enlisted such trusted talent as the alternative guitar genius Dean Garcia (Curve / SPC ECO), whose mix would fit perfectly alongside Curve’s seminal album ‘Chinese Burn’. American industrial rock band Stabbing Westward’s Walter Flakus brought a modern approach with an 80’s cool that must be heard to be believed. Post-industrial band I:Scintilla bringing a turning and brooding darkwave mix. Shawn Brice (Loveless Love / Bloodwire) delivers a dance floor earworm worthy of his 90’s COP International band, Battery.

BELLHEAD are planning their 2022 touring dates which include providing support for Goth Icons Christian Death, Powerman5000, Stoneburner, Chant, Empathy Test and the Los Angeles dark electronic duo Night Club.
