We wish to thank Harold Budd for being our January 2021, Band Of The Month. Sadly, he passed away at the end of 2020. He was a gifted musician that showed the complexity and beauty in both Electronic and Classical music. His may have not started in Ambient music, but his course in music shows his genius and evolution in music.

Living 84 years, Harold Budd devoted his life to what he loved. One of these things was music. It played a huge part in his life and through it he was able to touch the hearts of countless people. To many he is seen as one of the fathers of Ambient music. He had a heavy involvement in Ambient, Jazz, Contemporary Classical, and many other areas of music. Through all of the music he has created and those that he influenced with his vision of music, he will never truly die. We mourn his passing and have been grateful to have him as part of the Music Eternal family.
