"Divine" was created directly from the skeleton of my previous song "Black And Gray". Although one seems faster than the other, they are in fact the same tempo. As a result, a lot of the SFX and textures from "Black And Gray" can be found in this song if you listen carefully. I wanted to return to my EBM roots with this song, as I have been exploring a myriad of styles. Eventhough I can pin point a lot of EBM elements, im having trouble understanding what style this song really is... haha hopefully you all can give me some feedback. Im just spontaneously writing the songs as they come to my brain.
"Divine" has given me all sorts of problems. From the production to the song structure, it is definitely one of the hardest songs I had to finish in my catalog. Additionally, I was going through a lot of personal turmoil during its inception. These two things combined were a recipe for delay. Despite all this, I am proud of the fact that I finished it and that my brain can finally rest from having to listen to it an excruciating amount of times hahah. I hope you all enjoy it!!
