Interview: Kris Vlad of Vlad In Tears

If you had to describe your style of music, how would you describe it to someone that has never heard it?

I can only say that Vlad In Tears music is like a bitter sweet kiss and an evil punch on your chest that rips out your heart forever...

This explosion you have had in exposure all started with the demo, After The End, that you were giving out on one of your earlier tours. How many copies did you make and is this going to be an album that you would release to those that missed out on having it?

You know... it was just the beginning...so we really did not think about the copies and all this stuff but honestly we are still thinking about maybe a new release of some old stuff in a new way...we'll see...

Early on Vlad In Tears played music from other bands. What bands did you play the music of in your early days?

We all played into so many different kind of music, I can only say for example we did play together into him tribute band...(so many years ago)...

When you tour, do you do it solo or with other bands?

We played with other bands and even in solo...it depends on the occasion...and we like to play with bands close to our world but not too much, maybe I'd like to play with a rock band with just girls... hahahaha....
